StoreTrust ("we", "our", or "us") provides website trust analysis for Shopify stores.
Information We Collect
- Store URLs submitted for analysis
- Technical metadata from publicly available storefront pages
- Account email address (for paid users)
- Payment information handled securely by Stripe (we do not store card details)
- Server logs (IP address, browser type, referrer, and similar technical data)
How We Use Information
- To generate trust scores
- To improve our scoring system
- To manage user accounts
- To process payments
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse
Analytics and Tracking
With your consent, we use analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use StoreTrust and to improve the product. These tools may set cookies in your browser and collect anonymised usage data (for example, which pages are visited and how long visitors stay on a page).
Analytics cookies are optional. We only load them after you give consent via our cookie banner. You can withdraw your consent at any time by clearing cookies in your browser; we will then ask for your preferences again on your next visit.
We use Google Search Console to monitor indexing and search visibility. This helps us understand how our site appears in Google Search; it does not involve setting additional cookies from our side.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We only share data with:
- Stripe (payment processing)
- Hosting and infrastructure providers
Data Retention
We retain submitted store URLs and analysis results to improve our scoring models.

You may request deletion of your account data by contacting support@storetrust.io.
